Sashi Esport Wins CCT Europe 2026 Series 5, Ending Eight-Month Trophy Drought
Sashi Esport have claimed CCT Europe 2026 Series 5, beating SINNERS Esports 2-1 in the grand final to take home $10,000. It's their first title since Circuito Retake Season 11 last year, ending a trophy drought that had stretched across the better part of eight months.
The Road to the Title
Sashi Esport navigated a clean bracket run. They swept EA Copenhagen in the round of 16, beat Just Players 2-1 in the quarterfinal, edged Black Phoenix 2-1 in the semifinal, and closed it out against SINNERS in another 2-1. SINNERS had looked sharp on their side of the draw, beating INOX Divisio and then SPARTA Esports in the semis, but couldn't convert in the final.
SPARTA and Black Phoenix shared the 3-4th place finish and the $2,500 that comes with it.
A Trophy That Matters
Sashi Esport have spent much of 2026 as a team with clear potential but inconsistent results, and a title at any level resets the conversation. CCT Europe Series 5 isn't the biggest event on the calendar, but winning it requires beating real opposition across a full bracket, and Sashi did that without dropping a series until the grand final. The $10,000 prize pool is secondary to what the result means for a roster that needed to prove it could close one out. Now they have.
