South Korea secured a 3-1 victory over Vietnam on the second day of the AG friendly matches. After a shaky start in the opening game, the Korean squad won three consecutive sets, showing remarkable resilience in the most critical moments of the series.
The first game saw a surprising upset for South Korea. Despite controlling the map and securing Baron, the team suffered a series of fatal skirmishes following the death of Zeus (Choi Woo-je) on Gragas. This allowed Vietnam to secure the Soul and turn the tide of the game.
South Korea responded in the second game by focusing on dragon stacking. This methodical approach pressured Vietnam, leading to victories in several dragon fights and a clean Ace in the top lane to seal the set.
The third game featured a massive comeback. While Zeus on Camille showed early dominance, Vietnam managed to punish South Korea's aggression, securing key objectives and even achieving an Ace during a Baron attempt. However, at the 32-minute mark, South Korea turned the game around. Following a successful defense, Camille engaged the backline, and Keria (Ryu Min-seok) on Poppy neutralized a key target, allowing South Korea to secure the Elder Dragon and march toward the Nexus.
In the deciding fourth game, South Korea maintained total control. Despite Hizto's attempts to snowball on Trundle, Faker (Lee Sang-hyeok) on Anivia and Zeus on Gnar effectively neutralized the threat. With a gold lead exceeding 4,000 and complete control over objectives, South Korea finished the series with a dominant teamfight led by Gumayusi on Caitlyn.
