SOOP Announces 2026 GSTL Finals Date for StarCraft II
The SOOP platform has announced that the 2026 GSTL StarCraft II finals will take place on September 27 at the FreeUp Studio in Seoul.
The championship match will feature T1 | ONSYDE, the regular season leaders, against BASILISK, who secured their spot through the playoffs. Given that their previous encounter in the regular season went all the way to an Ace Decider, a highly competitive series is expected.
The roster for T1 | ONSYDE includes Cho Seong-ju, Park Han-sol, Shin Hee-beom, and Kim Jun-ho. BASILISK will be represented by Jona Sohtala, Ricardo Romiti, Yoon Hong, and Kevin van der Kuij.
Unlike the individual-focused GSL, 2026 GSTL utilizes team-based mechanics such as roster submissions and the Ace Decider system. The finals will be broadcast live on SOOP in both Korean and English.
