Sony State of Play June 2026: Marvel's Wolverine, Castlevania, Until Dawn 2 and 10+ More Reveals

On June 2, 2026, Sony held its biggest State of Play in years — over 60 minutes streamed on YouTube and Twitch. The centerpiece was Marvel's Wolverine from Insomniac Games.

Marvel's Wolverine — PS5 only, forever. No PC port.

PlayStation State of Play June 2026 opened with an extended Marvel's Wolverine gameplay reveal. Insomniac Games confirmed a September 15, 2026 release date and permanent PS5 exclusivity. PlayStation Studios head Hermen Hulst announced there will be no PC port — breaking a six-year practice of porting Sony's narrative single-player games to PC.

Wolverine Stays on PS5: End of the Port Era

Sony's decision to make Wolverine a permanent PS5 exclusive was a surprise. Since Horizon Zero Dawn, Sony had consistently ported narrative single-player games to PC. This marks a clear strategic reversal.
