Solary Defeats Worlds 2026 Participant in Scrims
The French roster Solary demonstrated significant momentum during their recent bootcamp in South Korea. Manager uko shared the team's results from a series of scrimmages, which included dominant performances against a Worlds 2026 participant and other international sides.
On September 28, Solary faced CTBC Flying Oyster in two scrimmage blocks, winning both series 4:0 without dropping a single map. This brought their total record against the CFO—who have already qualified for Worlds 2026—to 8:0. While these results highlight the team's preparation, they remain unofficial and do not impact tournament standings.
The winning streak continued on October 1, when Solary defeated Team Vitality 4:0. Throughout the Korean bootcamp, the team also faced Bilibili Gaming Junior, Dplus KIA Challengers, Vivo Keyd Stars Academy, Galions, and the Chinese Taipei national team. Their performance included victories over Cupid Esports (4:1) and Dplus KIA Challengers (3:0), alongside losses to Dplus KIA Challengers (0:2) and Galions (1:4).
The trip also featured participation in the World Star Challengers Invitational 2026. Solary reached the final stage of the tournament, securing a 3:1 victory over Movistar KOI Fénix in the playoffs before ultimately falling to T1 Esports Academy in a close 2:3 series in the grand final.
