Scramble Knights Online: Zelda-inspired MMO-lite hits Early Access
Funktronic Labs has announced the release date for Scramble Knights Online: an action-RPG MMO-lite arriving on October 27.
Funktronic Labs has announced that the MMO-lite action-RPG Scramble Knights Online will enter early access on October 27, 2026. The title is coming to PC and Xbox Series X|S, with the Xbox version available via Game Pass.
Drawing inspiration from The Legend of Zelda series, the game invites players to explore a shared online kingdom called Terracott. Players take on the role of squire apprentices tasked with completing quests, diving into mysterious dungeons, and battling various enemies, ranging from electric slimes to massive dungeon bosses.
The game features a top-down perspective and supports both solo play and 4-player cooperative sessions. Beyond questing, players can engage in PvP combat, craft powerful gear using rare loot, and enjoy relaxing activities like fishing or upgrading equipment in town squares.
Regarding monetization, Scramble Knights Online is a buy-to-play title. While Funktronic Labs is considering the introduction of paid cosmetic packs and DLC for fans, there are currently no plans for in-game microtransactions. The game will also support cross-play. A detailed roadmap is expected soon, with the first major update slated for this winter.
A demo is currently available, and players can transfer their save data to the full version upon release.
