Take-Two has subpoenaed Microsoft, Discord, and X as part of its investigation into the source of the leaks. The publisher requested records related to online accounts involved in posting and sharing the content, including user data linked to OneDrive and Xbox accounts. Their goal is to identify the alleged infringer(s) to protect Take-Two's intellectual property rights.
The copyrighted material at issue includes audiovisual content, artwork, images, dialogue, and other creative elements. Rockstar thanked the community for their messages of support over the past week, stating that their words meant more to the team than they can imagine. They reaffirmed that the game is being made for the fans and expressed anticipation for sharing more updates soon.
