PUBG GLOBAL SERIES 9: Grand Finals Day 1 is live
The PUBG Global Series (PGS) Circuit 3 finale has officially kicked off. Day 1 of the tournament is underway, delivering four days of high-stakes esports action.
Tournament Format and Schedule
The event is split into two main stages: the Survival Stage and the Grand Finals. The Survival Stage takes place on August 20th, while the Grand Finals run from August 21st to 23rd.
Qualification for the Survival Stage includes teams that did not finish in the top 8 of PGS 7 or PGS 8. The top 8 teams from those tournaments bypass the Survival Stage and advance directly to the Finals. The remaining teams compete in a 16-team bracket; only the top 8 will qualify for the ultimate PGS Finals lobby.
The Grand Finals will be a three-day Best-of-15 (BO15) showdown. The team with the most points at the end of the third day will be crowned champion. As this is the Circuit Final, Advantage Points earned in the Winner's Stage of PGS 7 and PGS 8 are added to standings at the start of the Finals.
