Code Vein II Mask of Idris DLC launches September 9
Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. has confirmed that the Mask of Idris DLC for Code Vein II will launch on September 9, 2026. The expansion is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PS VR2.
The Mask of Idris DLC introduces a history-altering story set in the Forsaken World, separate from the main campaign. Players will embark on a new adventure alongside two new partners: Liv Voda, the original guardian of the Temporal Rift, and Lou Magmell, a character with her own tragic backstory.
Together, they will confront powerful new threats in this fractured realm. The DLC also brings a collection of new weapons and Formae to broaden combat options. Notable additions include the Grave Knocker, a martial arts Formae compatible with all weapon types that creates shockwaves, and the Sword of Karma, which summons a great sword imbued with the flames of Pathos.
Launching alongside the DLC is a free update for all players, introducing additional features to enhance the gameplay experience. Specific play conditions must be met before accessing the Mask of Idris content; full details are available on official Bandai Namco channels.
