Confirm the Launch Time

The official date uses Pacific Daylight Time. Players in Europe and much of Asia will see the expansion after midnight on July 30. If the new boosters do not appear earlier on July 29, that does not indicate a delay.

Restart the app and inspect the in-game news before opening packs. The developer directs players there for additional conditions attached to the new features.

Hold Resources Until the Full List Appears

Mega Rayquaza ex makes its debut, while Mega Metagross ex and Mega Gallade ex are also confirmed. Individual reveals cannot define the eventual environment; Trainers, regular Pokémon, and booster distribution all matter.

Spend Pack Hourglasses after checking each booster’s contents against your collection goals. Opening a smaller first batch can reveal which pack covers more missing slots.

How Card Dex Registration Changes

When a card appears in multiple boosters, it will be registered in Card Dex for every corresponding pack. The change also applies retroactively to cards already owned.

Do not treat an old per-booster indicator as final. Recheck Card Dex after the update because part of the recorded progress should change automatically.

Use Deck Codes Carefully

Deck sharing through two-dimensional codes will copy an exact list. A code does not create missing cards or prove that a deck belongs in the current event format.

Inspect the list, card requirements, and format before saving a personal version. Any claim about the definitive best Ruler of the Skies deck remains premature before the complete set is available.

Do Not Guess the Guarantee Condition

After certain conditions are met, the next pack opened from the same expansion guarantees a card of four-diamond rarity or higher. The official post does not disclose those conditions and points to post-launch in-game news.

Do not assign an unofficial counter or probability to the guarantee. If the notice activates, preserve its wording and make sure the next pack belongs to the same expansion.

Build an Event Calendar

Elite Deck Gift Missions run from late July to late October and award a Fighting-type deck featuring Mega Lucario ex and Hitmonchan ex. Handy Card Collection Missions in the same window award Trainers including Leaf, Sabrina, and Red.

Summer Event Missions run from late July to early August; the Emblem Event and Community Week follow in early to mid-August. Mega Houndoom ex Drop, Wonder Pick, and returning Deluxe Pack: ex events are planned for mid- to late August.

The official calendar provides ranges rather than exact days, so “early August” should not become an invented date.
