OWCS Midseason 2026: July 30 Results and Day Three Matches
The OWCS Midseason Championship 2026 group stage concludes in Paris on July 31. Crazy Raccoon and Weibo Gaming secured playoff places on day two, while Team Secret, All Gamers, Team Liquid, and 9z Team were eliminated. Six more quarterfinal berths are decided during the third day.
July 30 Results
Crazy Raccoon defeated Spacestation Gaming 2–0 to become the first Group B playoff team. Weibo Gaming beat Team Falcons 2–1 for the corresponding Group A berth. Both winners now await placement in the playoff bracket.
In elimination matches, VARREL beat All Gamers 2–1, JD Gaming swept Team Secret 2–0, T1 defeated 9z Team 2–0, and Dallas Fuel beat Team Liquid 2–0. The four losing teams finished 13th–16th and earned $10,000 each.
Two Upper Finals on July 31
Virtus.pro faces Twisted Minds at 10:00 UTC. The winner advances immediately; the loser receives one final opportunity against Dallas Fuel at 15:00 UTC. Virtus.pro opened by beating 9z Team, while Twisted Minds advanced past T1.
Geekay Esports meets ZETA DIVISION at 11:15 UTC. The winner qualifies and the loser faces JD Gaming at 16:15 UTC. Both teams started the event with 2–0 victories, making this a test between Group B's two remaining unbeaten lineups.
Matches with No Second Chance
Team Falcons and T1 begin their Group A series at 12:30 UTC. Falcons dropped from the upper side after losing to Weibo, while T1 survived by eliminating 9z. The winner enters playoffs and the loser finishes 9th–12th.
Spacestation Gaming plays VARREL at 13:45 UTC in Group B. SSG lost to Crazy Raccoon and VARREL advanced through All Gamers. There is no further round here either: the winner continues on August 1 and the loser leaves the championship.
The Final Two Berths
Dallas Fuel waits for the loser of Virtus.pro versus Twisted Minds at 15:00 UTC. At 16:15 UTC, JD Gaming plays the loser of Geekay Esports versus ZETA DIVISION. These series close the double-elimination group phase.
Dallas and JD do not have another life; their advantage is that each has already won an elimination series. Their opponents will arrive after playing an upper match on the same day, although they will also have immediate competitive practice. Every group match is First-to-2.
What Comes After Groups
Eight teams enter a single-elimination bracket. Quarterfinals take place August 1, followed by semifinals, the third-place match, and the Grand Final on August 2. The champion earns $400,000, the runner-up $180,000, and third place $100,000.
Only Crazy Raccoon and Weibo Gaming are confirmed at publication time. Every other place depends on the six July 31 series, so quarterfinal pairings cannot be treated as final before the day ends. Sources: Overwatch Esports; OWTV.
