NIP join international teams at $50k Chinese LAN before Major cutoff
Ninjas in Pyjamas have confirmed their participation in the XSE Pro League Luoyang 2026, a $50,000 Chinese LAN event scheduled to conclude just one day before the VRS invite deadline for the PGL Singapore Major.
The tournament is taking place in Luoyang from October 29th to November 1st. It serves as a critical final opportunity for international squads aiming to secure their spot at the upcoming Major, with the event acting as a last refuge before the cutoff date.
NIP joins 100 Thieves and BC.Game on the roster of international teams chasing qualification after mixed domestic seasons. According to projections by MischiefCS, NIP currently holds a 38% chance of making the Major, making this LAN a vital step in their qualification hunt.
The field will be unique, pitting China's top domestic teams against a mix of tier-two and tier-three European squads. The six highest-ranked registered teams receive direct entry, while the final two spots are decided through a play-in event.
Other notable international participants include 9INE, JiJieHao, Lynn Vision, NEXVOID, and Rare Atom. On the Chinese side, top teams like TYLOO will also be competing for a place in the Major.
