NAVI need at least four wins to qualify for PGL Singapore Major 2026
The road to the PGL Singapore Major 2026 is tightening for NAVI. Analyst Udknud has outlined the specific requirements for the Ukrainian roster to maintain their ranking and secure an invitation to the upcoming Major, suggesting that at least four victories in upcoming events are essential.
The immediate priority for NAVI is to defeat MOUZ in their StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 lower bracket match on September 18. According to Udknud, a loss to MOUZ could see NAVI drop to approximately 25th place in the VRS rankings following the October 5 update. Such a drop would likely result in the loss of direct invitations to several premier tournaments.
Should the team struggle with their ranking, they will need to compensate during ESL Pro League Season 24 and PGL Masters Bucharest 2026. Udknud calculates that NAVI needs to achieve at least a 2:3 record in both tournaments to stay in contention. In most scenarios, this translates to securing a minimum of four wins across these competitions to keep their Major qualification hopes alive.
While the pressure is mounting, the final VRS selection for the PGL Singapore Major does not take place until November 2, with the tournament itself scheduled for November 24. This means that while the October 5 ranking update is critical, it will not be the final deciding factor for the team's participation in the Major.
