The opening day of PGL Wallachia Season 9 has concluded with eight teams securing victories. Natus Vincere, Team Yandex, and Xtreme Gaming were among the winners.
Natus Vincere, Xtreme Gaming, and GamerLegion dominated their opening series with 2:0 scores. The remaining victors—Aurora Gaming, LGD Gaming, Team Nemesis, Conventus Stellarum, and Team Yandex—all secured their wins with 2:1 results. Notably, Team Yandex managed to overcome MOUZ in their matchup.
Currently, Xtreme Gaming, Natus Vincere, and GamerLegion lead the standings with a 1–0 record and a +2 map difference. Aurora Gaming, LGD Gaming, Team Nemesis, Team Yandex, and Conventus Stellarum also hold one win each, maintaining a +1 map difference. Meanwhile, MOUZ, 1w Team, Yakutou Brothers, Pipsqueak+4, and PlayTime started with 1:2 losses, while Hokori, Team Cobra, and Pibbles Corp failed to secure any maps in their opening series.
PGL Wallachia Season 9 is taking place in Bucharest, Romania, from September 19 to 27. Sixteen teams are competing for a total prize pool of $1 million.
