Mycopunk launches October 20
The mission-based cooperative first-person shooter Mycopunk will leave Early Access and officially launch on October 20. Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Pigeons at Play announced that the game will be available on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam for $14.99. It will also be included in the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on day one.
In Mycopunk, players step into the shoes of the New Atlas Hazard Crew, a squad of misfit robots hired by the SAXON corporation. The crew's mission is to combat a deadly, planet-wide fungal menace that is corrupting technology and turning it against the inhabitants. The gameplay focuses on high-stakes missions where players must navigate and survive the mycological catastrophe.
A standout feature of the game is its highly customizable weaponry. Using a unique grid-based upgrade system, players can supercharge an arsenal ranging from advanced futuristic guns to simple power tools, creating specialized sci-fi super-weapons. The game emphasizes cooperative synergy, encouraging players to combine upgraded abilities and customized builds to overcome challenges within one or two missions.
Between missions, players can retreat to an orbital dropship, which serves as a social hub featuring various toys, games, and the ability to interact with Roachard Cox, a veteran of the SAXON corporation. Mycopunk has been in Early Access on PC since July 10, 2025.
