MSI Unveils Next-Gen AI and Gaming Flagships at TGS 2026
At Tokyo Game Show 2026, MSI officially unveiled a comprehensive update to its flagship hardware portfolio. Marking the 30th anniversary of the event, the company focused on high-performance computing for the AI era, introducing new graphics cards, handheld PCs, monitors, and premium components.
Graphics and Handheld Gaming
The spotlight of the presentation was the GeForce RTX 5090 32G LIGHTNING Z. Designed for extreme overclocking, this flagship card features a reimagined liquid cooling system, carbon-fiber accents, and an integrated display. It is positioned as the pinnacle of MSI's engineering for high-end enthusiasts.
In the handheld segment, MSI introduced the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+. This is the world's first handheld powered by the Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor, aiming to balance high compute performance with improved power efficiency. The device features a redesigned ergonomic chassis, Hall-effect triggers and joysticks for increased durability, and an intuitive Xbox Mode for streamlined gaming. It arrives in a distinctive Void Purple colorway.
AI-Ready Monitors and PC Components
The monitor lineup is headlined by the MEG X, a flagship intelligent QD-OLED gaming monitor. Utilizing 5th-gen QD-OLED panels and DarkArmor Film, it incorporates advanced AI Gaming Assistance to enhance the user experience. Additionally, the MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 was announced, featuring a 34-inch UWQHD panel with a 360Hz refresh rate.
Regarding PC components, the MPG VIXTA 300R AIRFLOW PZ case was introduced, specifically designed to support back-connect motherboards for cleaner cable management. MSI also showcased its Red Dot Design Award-winning MEG series, which includes the MEG CORELIQUID E15 360 AIO with a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED display and the MEG MAESTRO 900R chassis, which features a four-way rotatable motherboard tray.
Peripherals and Audio
For audio enthusiasts, the MAESTRO 500 WIRELESS offers Active Noise Cancellation and up to 90 hours of battery life. On the input side, the VERSA 300 WIRELESS 8K gaming mouse weighs just 66g and utilizes the PixArt PAW3395 sensor, supporting an 8,000Hz polling rate for high-speed precision.
