Movistar KOI Defeats Natus Vincere to Qualify for Worlds 2026
Movistar KOI defeated Natus Vincere 3:1 in the lower bracket of LEC 2026 Summer to secure a spot at Worlds 2026. With this result, NAVI conclude their bid for a Worlds slot after finishing fourth in the summer split, though they will move on to compete in the Demacia Cup Global Invitational 2026.
The series began with a victory for Natus Vincere on the first map, which lasted 41 minutes and 23 seconds (16:14). Movistar KOI responded immediately, dominating the second map 20:6 in just 28 minutes. KOI maintained their momentum through the third and fourth maps, winning 19:5 and 17:8 respectively to seal the 3:1 series victory and their qualification for Worlds.
The standout performer in the Movistar KOI lineup was David "Supa" Martinez Garcia, who achieved the best average K/D/A of 7.2/1.0/6.1.
