Moomin: Midsummer Madness launches November 12

Publisher Shochiku Games and developer Crossbridge Game Studios have confirmed the release date for the point-and-click adventure Moomin: Midsummer Madness. The title will launch on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on November 12.

The game is described as a playful point-and-click adventure inspired by Tove Jansson’s Nordic fantasy novel. Players will take on the roles of Moomintroll and Little My, exploring an old theatre caught in a great flood. The journey features endearing encounters and familiar faces within a whimsical setting.

According to the Steam page overview, the experience is designed for all ages with light puzzles and fun mini-games infusing each chapter. A built-in hint system ensures challenges remain relaxing and approachable for everyone.

Key features include a hand-painted world inspired by Tove Jansson’s original artistry, a rich music soundtrack, and Nordic storytelling brought to life by memorable characters. The narrative focuses on curiosity, sympathy, and the small wonders around us.

A physical edition will be available for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, while PC players will access the game digitally through Steam.
