Monte Esports refutes Bymas' claims of unpaid salary and prize money
Monte Esports has issued a formal statement refuting claims by former player Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras regarding unpaid salaries and prize money, clarifying that all contractual obligations have been met.
The organization responded to allegations made on X just days ago, in which Bymas claimed he was owed tens of thousands of dollars for sticker money and tournament prizes since 2025. Monte characterized these accusations as "incredibly critical and painful," noting that the previous CEO's heated comments were made "in the heat of emotion" rather than reflecting the organization's true stance.
Monte emphasized their commitment to transparency, stating they have always maintained open communication and never ignored anyone. They firmly declared that all player salaries have been paid in full and that they have never violated contract terms. Specifically regarding sticker money, the team noted that neither Bymas nor any other former players have contacted them with requests for these funds.
With the financial dispute addressed, Monte Esports stands ready to move forward, having denied the accusations of non-payment and reaffirmed their integrity in player relations.
