Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2 brings Malzeno, Narwa and all-new monster Ferroxe
Capcom has revealed the full details of Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2, arriving on June 3, 2026. The update is built around the return of two iconic monsters from Monster Hunter Rise, alongside a completely new creature designed exclusively for Wilds.
Returning monsters
- Malzeno — the vampire dragon that served as Rise's final boss returns with reworked phases and an expanded "Bloodblight Weave" attack pattern unique to Wilds. Capcom described Malzeno in Wilds as "a true endgame challenge, not just a port."
- Narwa the Allmother — the Sunbreak final boss variant arrives with a new arena located in a lightning-charged environment exclusive to the update. Her fight incorporates Wilds' dynamic weather system.
New monster: Ferroxe
Ferroxe is a brand-new apex predator exclusive to Monster Hunter Wilds. It uses magnetism and metal fragments from the environment as both weapons and armour, pulling debris from the terrain mid-fight. Its armour set is expected to rival Malzeno's as a top-tier defensive option.
Elder Dragon Variants
The update introduces "Elder Dragon Variants" — high-rank versions of all 14 weapon types, each with improved base stats and unique movesets not available on standard crafted weapons. This effectively doubles the number of high-tier weapon options available at the endgame.

Like all Monster Hunter Wilds Title Updates, this patch is completely free for everyone who owns the game. It also includes a balance pass on G-rank quest difficulty scaling and fixes for over 30 bugs reported since the previous update.
