Capcom has released a new trailer for the Monster Hunter Wilds major expansion "Ascendance," specifically highlighting the Gunlance's new Boosted Actions.
The footage showcases three key features for the weapon: the ability to fearlessly charge in with the Boost Driver, increased explosion damage, and a unique mechanic allowing players to defend and reload simultaneously.
Monster Hunter Wilds is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. A Switch 2 version is in development. The major expansion "Ascendance" is scheduled for release in 2027.
The trailer includes breakdowns of these mechanics in both English and Japanese versions.
