MischiefCS predicts Wildcard and NRG battle for final AME Major invite
VRS enthusiast "MischiefCS2" has released his first predictions for the Americas region of the PGL Singapore Major, revealing a tight race for the final invite spot.
With nine total invites available across North and South America, Mischief's simulations suggest that eight spots are already effectively secured. At the top tier, Legacy, FURIA, and 9z are considered locks for their invitations, though they will now compete against each other for a single Stage 3 qualifier slot.
The second tier includes teams that require consistent performance to maintain their status. This group features South American squads MIBR, DENDELE, and paiN, alongside North American representatives Liquid and M80. These teams will need to avoid significant slumps or lineup changes to keep their invites safe.
This leaves only one spot open for contention. Currently, NRG and Wildcard hold a considerable lead over the rest of the field for this final position. However, Mischief warns that both teams must step up their game immediately to secure the coveted Major invite before the tournament begins.
