MINISFORUM Announces MINISFORUM 895D7 and 139D7: 47-Liter-PCs with Desktop GPUs
MINISFORUM has unveiled two new compact computer models: the MINISFORUM 895D7 and the MINISFORUM 139D7. Both devices occupy a volume of 8.47 liters (referred to in sources as «47-Liter-PCs») and are positioned as hybrids between classic Mini-PCs and small form factor (SFF) systems capable of housing full desktop graphics cards.
Processors and Platform
Both models are built around mobile HX-series processors typically found in laptops. The MINISFORUM 895D7 features an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX with 16 cores and 32 threads, capable of boosting up to 5.4 GHz. The MINISFORUM 139D7 utilizes an Intel Core i9-13900HX, which has 24 cores (8 performance and 16 efficiency) and also reaches frequencies up to 5.4 GHz. Both processors operate in Balanced Mode with a power draw of up to 100 W.
Graphics and Expansion
The main feature of these systems is the native PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, allowing for the installation of full desktop graphics cards. In the MINISFORUM 895D7 lineup, two graphics options are available: the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory or the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 with 8 GB. The MINISFORUM 139D7 is offered only with the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT.
The manufacturer specifies 140 W of power for the Radeon RX 9060 XT and 145 W for the RTX 5060. It is important to note that the presence of a slot does not guarantee compatibility with any graphics card due to physical chassis limitations.
Specifications and Configuration
Both systems are equipped with two SO-DIMM memory slots (supporting up to 96 GB of DDR5: 5200 MHz for the AMD version and 5600 MHz for Intel), two M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 slots for storage (total capacity up to 8 TB), and an internal 400 W power supply. Interfaces include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 2.5 GbE Ethernet port.
The chassis dimensions are 312 × 93 × 292 mm, making the devices compact compared to standard tower PCs but larger than typical integrated graphics Mini-PCs.
