METAL SLUG RUSH Is Now Available on Mobile
SNK announced on July 26 that RING GAMES' mobile title METAL SLUG RUSH is now available. It adapts the series' familiar pixel art and characters to a roguelike action format.

SNK dated the availability notice for METAL SLUG RUSH July 26, 2026 on the official Metal Slug anniversary site. The publisher identifies it as a roguelike action game developed by RING GAMES.
Its Google Play listing describes a mobile survival action loop: players fight enemy waves, gain experience, select perks, and assemble equipment combinations. The named enemy groups include the Rebel Army, Pirates, and Mars People.
How the Loop Works
Runs center on short battles, level gains, and temporary upgrade choices. Equipment adds further effects, while rescuing POWs preserves one of the classic series' recognizable objectives.
The store lists advertising and in-app purchases, including chance-based items. SNK and RING GAMES have not announced separate console or PC editions of METAL SLUG RUSH.
Launch Context
The release is part of Metal Slug's 30th-anniversary program. The original arcade game debuted in 1996, while the new mobile entry retains pixel visuals, expressive animation, and familiar characters.
