Marvel Contest of Champions: Ghost Rider and Summoner's Choice Vote
Kabam has announced that Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes) and Colossus (Age of Apocalypse) will join the Marvel Contest of Champions roster this month. This rollout coincides with the launch of the seventh annual Summoner's Choice fan vote.
According to the developer, Colossus—the winner of the previous fan vote—will arrive on October 15th. Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes) is scheduled to follow on October 29th. Both characters bring their distinct comic book origins to the game: Colossus is the mutant rebel from the Age of Apocalypse universe, while Robbie Reyes is the mechanic bound to a spirit from East Los Angeles.
The duo will also feature in the Closer to the Edge event quest, running from October 7th to November 4th. The story involves Doctor Strange and Spider-Man 2099 warning the Summoner about the fracturing of the Battlerealm.
The Summoner's Choice 2027 vote features eight variants from the Spider-Verse multiverse. Players at level six or higher can vote for their favorite to determine who joins the game in 2027. The candidates are:
- Doppelganger;
- Spiders-Man;
- Araña;
- Webslinger;
- Cyborg Spider-Man;
- Rek-Rap;
- Spider-Byte;
- Spider-Ma'am;

The voting process consists of three rounds: the first begins October 9th, the second on October 16th, and the final on October 23rd. The winner will be revealed during a Kabam livestream on Twitch on November 2nd.
New players can also take advantage of the Graveyard Shift giveaway. By creating an account between September 30th and November 3rd, players can claim a bundle of 10 free horror-themed Champions, including Kushala, Cosmic Ghost Rider, Wiccan, and Venompool.
Additionally, the Ultimate Doom Sweepstakes remains active until December 9th. The grand prize includes a trip for two to the Los Angeles premiere of Avengers: Doomsday. Participation is open to eligible players via Kabam ID without requiring in-game purchases.
