Luminosity best BBL 2-0 to reach the Logitech G Play Connect semifinals
Luminosity secured a 2-0 victory over the Danes BBL in the Logitech G Play Connect quarterfinals. Despite facing several man-disadvantage situations, the team moved forward into the Counter-Strike 2 semifinals.
French AWPer Aurélien "afro" Drapier was the standout performer of the series. He shut down BBL with a 1.73 rating, recording 25 AWP kills and a 96.4 ADR, proving decisive in critical moments.
The series began on BBL's pick, Nuke, where the two sides traded rounds before Luminosity pulled away to take the map 13:9. On their own pick, Mirage, Luminosity established control early on. After a strong T-side, they closed out the series with a convincing 13:5 win to advance.
Luminosity will now face B8 in the semifinals, scheduled for September 22nd.
