Luminosity and 3DMAX advance to the Logitech G Play Connect 2026 semifinals
Luminosity and 3DMAX have advanced to the semifinals of Logitech G Play Connect 2026. Both teams secured their spots after defeating BBL Esports and M80 in the quarterfinals.
Luminosity entered their series as the favorites and lived up to that expectation with a 2:0 victory over BBL Esports. They took the first map, Nuke, 13:9, and closed out the series on Mirage with a 13:5 scoreline. The defeat sees the Turkish organization exit the tournament in 5th–6th place. Luminosity will now face B8 in the semifinals for a chance to reach the grand final.
Aurélien "afro" Drapier stood out as the match MVP, recording 37 kills and a 98 ADR. His performance was 25% higher than his recent average, finishing the series with a 7.7 rating.

In the other quarterfinal, 3DMAX secured a 2:1 series win against M80. The French side took Inferno 16:14, dropped Ancient 14:16, but ultimately dominated Dust II with a 13:8 victory. While 3DMAX continues their run, M80 is eliminated from the competition.
The Counter-Strike 2 tournament is being held in Warsaw, Poland, from September 17 to 23. With a total prize pool of $100,000, the champion will take home $40,000. The remaining matches are scheduled for September 22–23.
