Look Outside coming to PS5, Switch 2, PS4, and Switch on October 30
Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Francis Coulombe have announced that the survival horror RPG Look Outside will be released for PlayStation and Nintendo consoles on October 30, 2026.
Originally launched on PC via Steam in March 2025, the game is set to arrive on PS5, PS4, Switch, and the upcoming Switch 2.
The story of Look Outside takes place within a single apartment building. Following a mysterious event, anyone who looks out a window transforms into a grotesque monster, leaving the world in total chaos. Players must scavenge the building for food, supplies, and weapons while encountering strange characters—both human and otherwise.
The gameplay features resource management and turn-based combat. Players must plan tense expeditions outside their apartment and return home to craft tools, cook meals, and recuperate. The combat system involves clashes with over 150 hand-crafted creatures, where positioning and makeshift weapons are key. The experience offers 10 to 12 hours of playtime and features multiple different endings based on player choices.
