LoL 26.12 role guide: building a ranked pool for the week

Patch 26.12 has already produced early meta signals; now the goal is turning them into a working champion pool, not a chaotic test list.

After a patch, the winning champion pool is not the trendiest one, but the most executable one.

How to use this guide

This guide does not replace Patch 26.12 notes; it helps make ranked decisions after the first meta days. The main rule: do not change your whole champion pool at once, or you will not know what improved the result.

For each role, choose one stable pick, one situational counter and one comfort option for ban-heavy games.

Top lane

Top lane must avoid losing early wave tempo. After 26.12, look for champions that do not need jungle help and can move to objectives without losing all plating.

If a pick only becomes strong after two items, do not blind-pick it without a weak-lane plan.

Jungle

Junglers need a clean first clear and a clear river plan. A solo queue champion must not only farm, but also react to dragon, Voidgrubs and a collapsing lane.

Do not chase maximum damage if it costs map control.

Mid and bot

Mid must convert push into movement. If a champion clears slowly, the team loses first fights even with good scaling.

In bot lane, evaluate ADC + support together, not only the marksman. A good support can unlock a strong pick; a bad pair makes it useless.

One-week plan

Day 1: test without ranked pressure. Days 2-3: keep only three picks. Days 4-7: compare your feel with data, but do not copy tier lists blindly.

The most useful post-patch champion pool is the one you can actually execute under pressure.
