Library of Ruina sets Guinness World Record
Project Moon has announced that Library of Ruina has officially entered the Guinness World Records. The game has secured a spot in the category for the "Longest videogame campaign/story."
According to Guinness World Records, the main campaign of Library of Ruina takes approximately 113 hours to complete. This measurement, recorded as of June 2026, makes the South Korean developer the holder of the world record for story length in a video game.
The title has surpassed the previous record holder, Persona 5 Royal by P-Studio. Library of Ruina is 12 hours longer than the 2019 release, setting a new benchmark for narrative-driven experiences.
Released in 2021, Library of Ruina is a deck-building turn-based RPG. It serves as a direct sequel to the 2018 horror management simulation Lobotomy Corporation. The series' third installment, Limbus Company, was released by Project Moon in 2023. Now in its fifth year since launch, the second entry in the franchise has officially claimed the world record.
