LGD Gaming to Face BNK FEARX in 1-0 Bracket at Demacia Cup
The matchups for the second round of the Swiss Stage at Demacia Cup Global Invitational 2026 have been set. LGD Gaming is scheduled to face BNK FEARX in the 1-0 bracket, while Natus Vincere will take on FlyQuest in the 0-1 bracket.
Following the opening day of competition, which was played in a Best of 1 format, six teams secured victories to advance to the 1-0 bracket. RED Canids, LGD Gaming, KT Rolster, BNK FEARX, Team WE, and Hanjin BRION all sit at the top of the standings with 1-0 records.
The 0-1 bracket, where teams fight to avoid a 0-2 start, will feature Natus Vincere, FlyQuest, GAM Esports, Team Vitality, Shopify Rebellion, and JD Gaming. Key results from the first day included RED Canids defeating Natus Vincere 1:0, LGD Gaming beating FlyQuest 1:0, and KT Rolster overcoming Shopify Rebellion. Additionally, BNK FEARX, Team WE, and Hanjin BRION all opened their campaigns with wins over Team Vitality, GAM Esports, and JD Gaming, respectively.
All second-round matches will be played in a Best of 3 format. Winners in the 1-0 bracket will move to a 2-0 record, while losers will drop to the 1-1 bracket. The Demacia Cup Global Invitational 2026 runs until October 17, with twelve teams competing for a $223.5k prize pool. The tournament will transition from the online Swiss Stage to an offline Knockout Stage in Beijing.
