Leviatán Could Miss Champions After Masters Win
Leviatán faces a historic scenario: if LOUD defeat NRG in the lower bracket final of VCT 2026: Americas Stage 2, the VALORANT Masters London 2026 champions could miss Champions Shanghai in the same season.
100 Thieves have already secured one of the region's two direct slots at Champions by reaching the grand final. If LOUD become the second finalist, the remaining two Americas places will be decided through Championship Points.
Currently, NRG hold 16 points and G2 Esports have 17. NRG are guaranteed five additional points for finishing at least third, while fourth-placed G2 will receive four. This brings both teams to 21 points, moving them ahead of Leviatán, who remain on 19.
If NRG defeat LOUD, they will qualify directly alongside 100 Thieves. In that case, G2 Esports and Leviatán will claim the two Championship Points slots, keeping the Masters London winners' season alive.
Leviatán won VALORANT Masters London 2026 after defeating Paper Rex 3:2 in the grand final. Since the first international Masters in 2021, every winner of the tournament has gone on to compete at Champions later in the same season.
