KODEX add TyRa as new IGL
KODEX has officially announced the addition of Ty "TyRa" Aron to their Counter-Strike 2 roster. The former Iowa Stormboar player joins the ESEA Advanced side as their new IGL.
TyRa steps into the leadership role following the departure of John "Toasty" Hill on September 30th, who left the team due to school commitments. Prior to this move, KODEX had been utilizing Dalton "dopplahs" Hanley as an interim IGL, with Christophe "Dodge" Mailhot serving as a stand-in during ESEA Advanced Season 59.
The move reunites dopplahs and TyRa, who previously played together for Villainous between December 2023 and June 2024. The updated KODEX lineup consists of Dalton "dopplahs" Hanley, Nick "kenny" Gomulka, Joe "JSP" Chmielewski, Andrew "celery" Pylko, Ty "TyRa" Aron, and coach Leroy "OrangeZ" Burns.
The squad is already in action, currently competing in the NSTLGA Emerald Cup 2026 playoffs against EMPIRE in the semifinals.
