Kodawari Ramenkan Switch2 Edition Launches

Kairosoft has released Kodawari Ramenkan for Nintendo Switch 2, bringing its popular ramen shop management simulation to the new hardware with enhanced visual and control features.

The game, originally available on the original Nintendo Switch, allows players to craft their ideal bowl of ramen by selecting noodles, soups, and toppings. The core objective remains the same: build a successful restaurant, compete against rivals in local tournaments, and eventually open a ramen theme park.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition introduces several technical improvements. In TV mode, the game now supports 4K resolution, which allows for a wider display area and sharper pixel art. Additionally, the version adds mouse control support via Joy-Con 2, offering a new way to interact with the game's interface.

According to the official press release, the gameplay content remains unchanged from the original version. The title is available for download in the Nintendo eShop in Japan, the Americas, Europe, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea. It supports Japanese, English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Thai languages.

Pricing for the new edition is set at 2,000 yen (tax included), while an upgrade path for existing owners costs 500 yen (tax included). A 10% discount is currently applied to both options until September 23.
