Intel adds two new Raptor Lake CPUs to distributor listings
Intel appears to be expanding its 13th Gen Raptor Lake embedded lineup. According to distributor listings from Mouser, two new processors—the Core i7-13799HRE and Core i5-13599HRE—have been spotted.
Specifications and positioning
The revealed specifications for these new models are nearly identical to the existing HRE series. As reported by @momomo_us, the Core i7-13799HRE features 24 MB of cache and a maximum boost clock of 5.0 GHz, while the Core i5-13599HRE offers 18 MB of cache and reaches 4.8 GHz.
These figures align closely with the current Core i7-13800HRE and Core i5-13600HRE. While the exact core counts for the new SKUs haven't been explicitly listed, they are expected to follow the existing architecture: 14 cores / 20 threads for the i7 model and 12 cores / 16 threads for the i5 model. Both are listed as FC-BGA16F (FCBGA1744) tray processors.
The HRE series for embedded systems
It is important to clarify that these are not standard consumer laptop CPUs. The HRE series is designed for embedded and industrial applications, providing specific features such as:
- Industrial Extended Temp support;
- ECC memory support;
- Intel vPro Enterprise capabilities.
The appearance of these new SKUs in 2026, more than three years after the initial Raptor Lake launch, is an unusual move for Intel. Currently, these processors are not listed in Intel's official public product index, and they are not yet in stock at Mouser, suggesting they may be preliminary entries in the distributor's database.
