INNOCN has launched the E49M1R, a 49-inch flat ultra-wide MiniLED monitor that claims to be the world's first of its kind in this form factor. Priced at 159,999 yen (approximately $1,065 USD), it is available for a limited-time launch sale on Amazon.co.jp until September 20th at a discounted price of 135,990 yen (around $890 USD). The device features a 32:9 aspect ratio with a DQHD resolution of 5,120 x 1,440 pixels, offering a workspace equivalent to two 27-inch WQHD monitors.
Unlike the curved panels common in ultra-wide displays, the E49M1R utilizes a flat VA panel with MiniLED backlighting.
