ASUS has officially launched the ROG Thor 1600W Titanium III EVO, a high-capacity power supply unit designed for next-generation desktop PCs. Priced at over 140,000 yen (approx. $950 USD), this unit targets enthusiasts and creators building systems with extreme power demands.

The ROG Thor 1600W Titanium III EVO carries the prestigious 80 PLUS Titanium certification, indicating industry-leading efficiency levels that typically exceed 94% under load. At its core lies the adoption of GaN (Gallium Nitride) MOSFETs. Unlike traditional silicon-based components, these transistors offer significantly lower internal resistance and faster switching speeds.
