Hollow Knight: Silksong replaces Soul with Silk — a resource earned exclusively through dealing damage. The more aggressively you fight, the more Silk you generate. This creates a dynamic combat loop that rewards offensive play.

The Silk System

Every successful attack fills your Silk spool. A full spool unlocks abilities and healing. Healing (Bind) restores 3-4 health but can be interrupted — time it carefully between enemy attacks.

All Abilities

Swift Step — Dash. Core mobility skill.
Drifter Cloak — Glide. Slows descent, extends jump range.
Cling Grip — Wall Jump. Opens vertical exploration.
Clawline — Grappling Hook. Pull to anchor points.
Faydown Cloak — Double Jump. Critical for world access.
Silk Soar — Super Jump. Spends Silk for powerful vertical burst.
Needolin — Plunge attack. Extra damage from above.

Combat Strategy
