Hanwha Life Esports Leads T1 1-0 in LCK Playoffs
Hanwha Life Esports took the first set against T1 in the LCK Playoffs Loser's Final, with Kim "ZeKa" Geon-woo delivering a decisive performance on Ryze.
The match took place on September 12 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul. Hanwha Life Esports initially struggled in the mid-game, failing to contain the Gragas played by Choi "Doran" Hyeon-jun. However, the team turned the tide in a 22-minute bottom lane teamfight, where ZeKa's Ryze secured two kills to shift the momentum.
Maintaining their advantage, Hanwha Life Esports won a top jungle skirmish at 25 minutes, again highlighted by ZeKa's impact. They extended their gold lead to 5,500 and secured the Baron buff. At 33 minutes, they eliminated Moon "Oner" Hyun-jun's Napiel in the top jungle, allowing them to take a second Baron buff with ease.
The game concluded at 47 minutes after Hanwha Life Esports claimed the Chemtech Dragon Soul and won a decisive teamfight. They pushed into T1's base, destroying the twin towers and the Nexus to close out the set.
