GTA VI launches on November 19, 2026 as Rockstar officially confirms the date

Rockstar Games has finally made it official: Grand Theft Auto VI is set to launch on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The reveal came through Rockstar Newswire and was paired with a new three-minute gameplay trailer.

What the trailer showed

The new footage expanded Vice City into a larger and more reactive coastal metropolis, moving from street-level neighborhoods to a polished financial district. Lucia and Jason both received more screen time, while Rockstar emphasized NPC behavior, traffic, and dynamic weather.

PC will have to wait

Rockstar is still not giving a hard date for PC. The official wording simply says that the game is coming to PC later, which strongly suggests a 2027 release at the earliest based on the studio’s usual launch pattern.
