G2 Esports officially part ways with Dylan Falco
G2 Esports have officially parted ways with Dylan Falco, concluding a tenure that began ahead of the 2022 season. The final departure was confirmed in a farewell post on X, formally closing one of the longest coaching tenures in the recent history of the team.
Falco had already been removed from the Head Coach position in July 2026, when Luka "Perkz" Perković took over the active roster. That change did not mark a full separation, as Falco remained under contract with the organization after leaving the active coaching role. The latest announcement now formally ends his time with G2 Esports.
During his tenure, Falco remained Head Coach through several roster changes and multiple domestic title runs. G2 consistently qualified for international events and reached several notable stages at MSI, Worlds and First Stand. The team also remained one of the leading organizations in Europe throughout that period.
Key achievements during Falco's time with the team include 11 LEC trophies, a runner-up finish at First Stand 2026, a quarterfinal appearance at Worlds 2025, fourth place at Mid-Season Invitational 2026, and a semifinal run at Mid-Season Invitational 2022.
