G-Fusion Game Fest 2026 Opens in Beijing with 200 Titles at Steelworks Site
The G-Fusion Game Fest 2026 Beijing has officially opened at the Shougang industrial park. Organized by the GCORES media community, the two-day event occupies nearly 20,000 square meters of exhibition space within the repurposed steelworks site.
Under the theme "ODE TO THE GAMER!", the festival showcases approximately 200 titles from more than 40 companies. The lineup includes major players like Remedy Entertainment (known for CONTROL Resonant), publisher CRITICAL REFLEX, Shueisha Games, and UKIYO STUDIOS.

Attendees can experience hands-on demos of various upcoming releases, including Showa American Story and Tide of Destruction. Additionally, the horror title Kaidan is making its public debut with a playable demo available at the event.

The venue itself is a key part of the experience. The exhibition is held in the reconstructed facilities of the former Shougang steel plant, which ceased operations in 2010. The contrast between the massive, industrial structures—such as blast furnaces and silos—and the modern gaming technology creates a striking atmosphere for the festival.
