Finalmouse SLX Nightfall: 38g Wireless Mouse with Rapid Trigger Support

The new Finalmouse SLX Nightfall wireless gaming mouse, designed for competitive play, has been showcased at the Fumo Showroom Akihabara. The device stands out with its ultra-lightweight 38g build and TMR technology, specifically targeting the needs of modern tactical FPS players.

TMR Dual-State Analog Click and Rapid Trigger

The standout feature of the SLX Nightfall is the newly developed TMR Dual-State analog click system. By pairing Huano Blue Shell Pink Dot mechanical microswitches with TMR sensors capable of detecting movement in 0.01 mm increments, the mouse allows for 40 levels of actuation point adjustment and the ability to toggle Rapid Trigger on or off. Users can also opt to bypass the TMR sensor and rely solely on the mechanical microswitches for click detection.

Build and Performance

To achieve the 38g weight, the mouse utilizes a new aerospace-grade carbon composite body and titanium screws. The shape has been redesigned with a higher rear hump to improve grip and stability, a change intended to cater to the demands of modern tactical shooters.

The internal hardware includes:

  • The Finalmouse F1 optical sensor, co-developed with PixArt;
  • A Nordic nRF54LM20 MCU;
  • PerfectSync and PerfectPolling systems to optimize performance.
These technologies reportedly achieve an end-to-end electrical latency of 223 μs. The device dimensions are 124.8 × 58.9 × 39.5 mm.

Pricing and Availability

The pre-order price for the device was set at ¥32,980. Samples are currently on display at the Fumo Showroom Akihabara.
