FaZe Clan leads SAL as Imperial Esports stun LOUD
The latest round of South America League 2026 - Stage 2 delivered a major upset as Imperial Esports defeated LOUD. Meanwhile, FaZe Clan maintained their perfect record with a win over Team Liquid, cementing their dominance at the top of the table.
By defeating Team Liquid—the second-placed side heading into this round—FaZe Clan extended their lead to three points. Their +25 round differential is significantly higher than any other team in the league. With Team Liquid and FURIA both sitting at 5-1, the battle for second place is proving to be much tighter than the race for the top spot.
The loss for LOUD at the hands of Imperial Esports has completely reshuffled the bottom half of the standings. Imperial Esports now move to 2-4, joining Lucky Five, Fluxo W7M, and LOUD in a group of four teams with two wins. However, LOUD sits at the bottom of this group with a -10 round differential. Additionally, Fluxo W7M secured a point against INTZ, and Lucky Five beat LOS. This leaves LOS and Black Dragons at 3-3, positioned right on the playoff cutoff line as the competition intensifies.
