How Team Scoring Works
A game score combines points from all four team members. On a tie, the team containing the first-place individual wins that game.
One leader can decide a tiebreak, while consistency across four players reduces the chance of a weak combined score.
What the Day Decides
Four series determine the remaining playoff places and eliminate the losing teams. Best-of-three leaves little recovery time after a poor opening.
This article records only confirmed July 21–22 scores. July 23 results belong in a later update after official completion.
The Stakes of Every July 23 Series
All four pairings sit in the lower side of double elimination, so every losing team exits the tournament. Team Vision and T1 open, followed by Aurora Gaming against MOUZ, ZETA DIVISION against Nongshim RedForce, and GodLike Esports against Movistar KOI. There is no later bracket match in which to repair the error.
Winners cannot treat survival as completion. Single-elimination playoffs begin July 24, and another loss immediately ends the run. The short transition favors teams able to review their own games quickly instead of depending on one narrow draft line.
Why Best-of-Three Is So Severe
The first game supplies substantial information but little time to use it. A team must decide whether the failure came from its overall concept, resource distribution, or execution across four players. Rebuilding everything after one loss can destroy the parts that were working.
Team scoring deepens the dilemma. One player can win a lobby and decide a tiebreak, while two early exits erase that advantage. Viewers should track not only first place but how many teammates preserve acceptable positions into the middle of each game.
Watching Without False Conclusions
One victory does not make a composition mandatory. Components, augments, leveling pace, and opponent behavior define the conditions. The same final board can be the correct destination from one opening and a forced mistake from another.
The clearest adaptation signal is when a player abandons the initial plan. Preserving health, moving toward available units, and retaining enough economy can turn a weak start into useful points. In a team event, one rescued placement can decide the series.
What Follows the Groups
Eight teams advance to the July 24 playoffs. Series remain best-of-three, but the bracket becomes single elimination: prior group success cannot protect a team after a loss beyond seeding and confidence.
The July 25 Grand Final is best-of-five. More games reduce the impact of one poor lobby and create more room for adaptation, while demanding a wider preparation range. A confirmed final field can only be recorded after the playoffs conclude.
