ESL One Munich 2027: Next Major Dota 2 Tournament Set for Germany

Munich is set to host the next ESL One tournament for Dota 2. ESL representatives announced the upcoming ESL One Munich 2027 via social media.
The event will be played entirely on LAN from April 4 to 11, 2027. The final three days, running from April 9 to 11, will be held at BMW Park, allowing spectators to attend the matches in person. A total of 16 teams will compete for a $1 million prize pool.
This marks the return of a major Dota 2 event to Germany, the first since the Berlin Major in 2023. The previous ESL One tournament was held in Birmingham, England, in the spring of 2026. Details regarding the qualification format and the list of participating teams have not yet been revealed.
