EA SPORTS NHL 27 Early Access Trial Available Now
EA SPORTS has opened the early access trial for EA SPORTS NHL 27, allowing EA Play members to test the new Connected Franchise mode and updated broadcast features for up to 10 hours. The trial begins immediately, and any progress made will carry over to the full game upon purchase.
The new season brings a significant overhaul to the franchise experience. The Connected Franchise mode lets players create a private league with friends, manage rosters, and compete head-to-head across a full online season. This mode supports up to 32 human-controlled teams and includes customizable league settings, scheduling tools, and commissioner features to tailor the experience.
Visual and atmospheric updates are also central to the release. All 32 NHL arenas have been rebuilt to reflect the specific identity and traditions of each home team. These updates include authentic goal songs, crowd chants, dynamic lighting, and team-driven presentation elements that react to the flow of the game. Additionally, a refreshed broadcast package introduces new graphics, updated camera angles, and improved on-screen storytelling to provide more context during gameplay.

Beyond the trial, EA Play members receive a 10% discount on digital purchases, including the full game and in-game currency. Seasonal rewards for EA SPORTS NHL 27 include 3,000 Chel Coins and WOC Season Pass XP Multiplier Tokens, available until November 19. These benefits are part of a broader September lineup that includes rewards for Apex Legends, EA Sports Madden NFL 27, EA Sports College Football 27, and Battlefield 6.
