EA Sports FC 27 Early Access Trial with EA Play is Live
The 10-hour trial for EA Sports FC 27 is now available for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members. The trial is playable on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Players who decide to purchase the full game will have their progress carried over, allowing them to continue their season seamlessly.
In addition to the trial, members can save up to 10% on the full game, FC Points, and other EA digital purchases. Subscribers are also eligible for recurring member rewards, such as Ultimate Team Draft Tokens.
What’s New in FC 27?
EA SPORTS has introduced several community-driven updates. A standout addition is The Grounds, available exclusively on Xbox Series X|S. This social football playground allows players to engage in fast-paced Kickabouts, 2v2 matches, or 11v11 stadium tournaments within the Clubs mode. Players can interact with football mentors and develop their skills both on and off the pitch.
Gameplay mechanics have been refined to offer greater fluidity. Improvements to spatial awareness lead to more intelligent runs, while new off-balance dribbling mechanics allow players to maintain momentum during physical challenges. Set pieces have also been redesigned, providing real-time control over positioning, alongside a new two-player header system for more competitive aerial battles.
The Manager Career mode features a rebuilt Transfer Market where player values are influenced by club buying power, potential, and current form. Meanwhile, Football Ultimate Team introduces the Gallery, a new feature where players can curate and grade sets of Player Items to increase their Gallery Level and build their club's identity.
Pre-orders and Editions
Two main editions are available for pre-order:
- Ultimate Edition: Offers up to 7 days of early access, a Season 1 Premium Pass, 6,000 FC Points (subject to specific redemption requirements by August 2027), and exclusive items for FC 26.
- Standard Edition: Includes content for The Grounds and specific challenges for Manager Career.
Note that FC Points purchases and the Ultimate Edition are not available in Belgium and South Korea.
EA SPORTS is focusing on interactivity and realism. In addition to the gameplay refinements, players will experience enhanced control in every match mode and deeper community integration through new social mechanics.
