DN Supers defeats Nongshim RedForce to claim KeSPA Cup title

DN Supers has reclaimed its throne after defeating Nongshim RedForce in the KeSPA Cup final. The match took place on August 18 at the Daejeon e-Sports Arena and ended with a decisive 3-0 scoreline. This victory marks the team's first championship since their inaugural win in Ulsan back in 2019.

Match progression and key moments

The first map started with DN Supers establishing control early on. Mid-lane dominance was secured by "Closer" Lee Ju-hyun on Kasia, while "Dudu" Lee Doo-joo overwhelmed "Kingen" Hwang Seong-hoon's Olaf with Ambessa. The turning point came at the 29-minute mark: after successfully securing Baron and attacking the enemy base, DN Supers destroyed two towers and Nexus.

The second map was more competitive. Nongshim RedForce held its ground until halftime, but then "Scout" Lee Ye-chan on Rise became a pivotal figure. At the 36-minute mark, after securing Baron and a series of successful attacks, DN Supers cemented their lead with a 2-0 score.

The third map served as the final act. Closer Lee Ju-hyun once again proved his worth, solo-killing Syndra on Aria. Following this, DN Supers dominated all lanes and closed out the match with a crushing victory.
