Dinolords: RTS with Dinosaurs and City Building
Ghost Ship Publishing and Northplay have revealed details regarding the multiplayer mode for Dinolords. Additionally, a free demo is scheduled to arrive on Steam this October.
Dinolords is a "Hack’n’Strat" title that blends real-time strategy (RTS), city building, and action-RPG combat. Set in an alternative medieval England where dinosaurs have been resurrected, players act as lords building fortresses to defend their lands against Viking invaders who utilize prehistoric creatures in battle.
A standout feature of the gameplay is the ability to directly control the lord using WASD movement. This allows players to personally navigate the battlefield, gather resources, and engage in combat, blending traditional RTS strategic depth with the hands-on feel of an action-RPG.
The recent announcement confirmed the following details:
- Multiplayer Mode: Supports up to 8 players, allowing for cooperative play or competitive matches to vie for dominance.
- Steam Demo: A free demo is set to release on Steam on October 19, 2026 (October 20 in Japan).
- Early Access: The game will launch in Early Access, following an "Open Development" approach to refine core mechanics based on community feedback.
The official release date and pricing for the full version have not yet been announced.
